ABOUT US

The Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild:

• Is all about handweaving
• Occasionally has a program on spinning or other fiber art
• Holds informational monthly programs, presented most often by members
• Schedules annual multi-day, hands-on workshops
• Mounts exhibits of members’ work at various venues around Northwest Arkansas
• Encourages members to enter their weaving entries in the Benton and Washington County Fairs and the Arkansas State Fair
• The Guild maintains a lending library for member use and owns a variety of weaving equipment available to be rented by members

Northwest Arkansas is fortunate to have active guilds that concentrate on spinning, basket making, lace making, quilting, embroidery, knitting and other related fields. See Resources.
